  • Defy Normal - A mellow acoustic rock band, led by Jesse Hess, is back for a second year.
  • Merry Ukuladies -  A former girl scout come folk singer.  Marianne Barlow is also part of The Organic Women's Chorus, which will also be performing.
  • Jean Mazzei - A soloist who plays guitar, sings jazz and alternative tunes and conducts yoga workshops, though not always all at once.
  • Deborah Crooks - Crooks is a folk singer that East Bay Express said, "...a more diverse take on Americana with a distinctly female tone, and quite charming."
  • Youth Roots - A young group of hip hop and pop performers.
  • The Ambassador of Trouts - Electronic experimental pieces with a lively beat.
  • Karie and Kompany -  Karie Hillery and band are contemporary smooth rock and jazz artists.  More info on them can be found on Sonicbids.
  • House Arrest - Led by Steve Moore and Carl Segelke, House Arrest is an 80s and 90s cover band who's back for more LSSMF.
  • Sock Monkey - Covers of classic rock.
  • Carl Segelke  DSP band - 80s and 90s Rock and Roll.
  • Spidermeow - An eclectic rock and Americana mix, led by Anthony Pulsipher.
  • Sharp Nine -  A group of seasoned musicians who love to entertain an audience with music ranging from jazz and blues to Latin and rock.
  • Lost Hippies - Rock and folk with a groove.
  • Miss Hix and the Superthicks - Acoustic rock soul.
  • Beltaine's Fire - A juggernaut of revolutionary love and rage combining complex melodic instrumentation with hip hop vocals.  Folk meets rap with a heartbeat.
  • Trivalve -  An instrumental surf trio that delivers driving, energetic, upbeat, tightly executed and reverb soaked surf classics and originals.
  • Lariats of Fire - Another band back for more Summer Solstice playing.
  • MacWon Da Beast -  Young MacWon is bringing back his hip hop/rap magic to the Laurel.
  • Operasaw - Indie/Avant-guarde/pop.
  • Steppin' Hall - Reggae and tributes to Bob Marley.
  • Smartmouth and the Know It Alls - A cosmically spawned mixture of funky bluesy reggae soul, fortified with select Humboldt County sustenance.
