Solstice Celebration at the Art Garden
Saturday June 20th will be the 10th Annual Summer Solstice Celebration put on by the Laurel Village Association. This year’s event will take place at the Art Garden, 35th Avenue and Delaware Street, and will include music and art. Hubcap painting will start at about 10 a.m. and will continue until mid-afternoon. The purpose will be to paint the hubcap backgrounds to that they can be decorated at another time. Wear clothes that can get a little paint on them and sturdy shoes.
Anyone and everyone who enjoys playing music is most welcome to come on out and join the fun. Dust off that old recorder or trombone you’ve got in the close and come out to enjoy the first day of summer.
Snacks and water will be available.
