UPCOMING FAMILY EVENT:

Laurel Lunar New Year Lion Dancing
Saturday, February 4, 12 noon-2p.m.

Come out and see lion dancers blessing our local stores in the Laurel District along MacArthur Blvd between 35th Ave and High Street.  Prior to this event, Councilmember Libby Schaaf will be hosting the "Local Heroes Awards" at Allendale Rec Center, 3711 Suter Street from 10am to 11:30am.  From there, a parade will travel through the streets and reach 39th Ave and MacArthur Blvd at noon.  Bring the kids!
